E-LEARNING RESOURCES FOR MY RUNNING COURSES

My teaching is based in discovery-based learning, and in collaborative learning. For that purpose we are always searching good practical and real cases suitable for constructing knowledge, for developing soft-skills, and for helping students to think about the ethics that can be applied in their relationships and professional attitudes.

If you are a teacher and need some of my materials for your courses, it would be a pleasure for me to share anything with you. I also like to be in touch to teachers that share my interests in order to exchange ideas. Please, write to me.

I am using WebCT platform with my Telecommunication Engineering students at Alcalá University in order to create an environment for collaborative study through foros and discussions.

If you are a registered student in Radiación y Radiocomunicación, you can access WebCT here. In the "Aula Virtual" you can find all the resources to acomplish the objectives of the subject, and you can contribute with new links or resources

I am also developing a tool for collaborative study in collaboration with Tecsidel within the SUMA project. This tool is based in Delphi method and its purpose is assisting both teachers and students in the learning experience. Delphi method is a prospective research method that helps to solve complex problems.

This method promote the use of teachers as facilitators or resources rather than authorities. As a result the students are fostered to build their own self-learning process in conjuction with the teacher and their classmates.

The method help students get the basic principles of the subject through a self-learning, collaborative and interactive proccess.
